VR Legal Resources is a division of Video Resources Incorporated, a company founded in 1979 in Southern California. Video Resources was created to provide broadcast quality video and staging production services for corporations. In the course of building a successful corporation to serve those needs, the founder and company president, Brad Hagen, along with General Manager, Ecar Oden, recognized a need in the legal community for video production, including video depositions and settlement videos. This led to Video Resources hiring a variety of full-time professionals, including Certified Legal Videographers, Forensic Specialists and Animators, to serve those needs.
The 2003 opening of an East Coast office, located in Boston, Massachusetts, further enhanced Video Resources’ ability to provide services across the country. However, it was felt that the legal services division, aided by leadership from noted blogger and forensic specialist Charles Perez, was becoming self sufficient enough to warrant its own identity. Thus, VR Legal Resources was created.
The team now includes professionals with Masters in Business Administration and Juris Doctorates from top-tier schools, along with attorney professionals with litigation backgrounds at top law firms. Over the course of the last decade, the team has worked nationally and internationally on high-profile legal matters.

The expert consulting services provided by VR Legal Resources assisted the Orange County District Attorney’s Prosecution Team in obtaining a conviction in the criminal case of People v. Haidl, Nachreiner, and Spann.
VR Legal Resources remained available throughout the whole legal process. The equipment provided to authenticate the videotape in question was top-of-the-line and used successfully to educate the jury during trial. Mr. Hagen’s expert testimony was superb as well, demonstrating his outstanding knowledge of the subject matter. I would not hesitate in consulting with VR Legal Resources and Mr. Hagen in any case where an expert is needed in the area of audio/video technology. (edited for spacing)
