OK- First – a short story: Often times I’ll go into a law firm and discuss their upcoming cases and the best way that their exhibits should be displayed. Naturally, I’m hoping to leverage the skills of our presentation department together with our litigation assistance and our presentation rental facilities at VR Legal Resources. Typically, [...]

We perform a variety of legally oriented services her at VR Legal Resources; everything from scanning and Bates Stamping exhibits to preparing and presenting exhibits and demonstratives in court, and, from time to time, we’re called upon to videotape a deposition.

I’ve had my “Twitter” account for about 9 months now and didn’t have a clue as to what to do with it.
Two weeks ago I jumped into the fray and gave the world tacit approval to stalk my every move, read my fleeting thoughts and, more or [...]

I subscribe to several newsletters and feeds in an attempt to keep myself on the “cutting edge” of presentation technology. The expert consulting services provided by VR Legal Resources assisted the Orange County District Attorney’s Prosecution Team in obtaining a conviction in the criminal case of People v. Haidl, Nachreiner, and Spann.
VR Legal Resources remained available throughout the whole legal process. The equipment provided to authenticate the videotape in question was top-of-the-line and used successfully to educate the jury during trial. Mr. Hagen’s expert testimony was superb as well, demonstrating his outstanding knowledge of the subject matter. I would not hesitate in consulting with VR Legal Resources and Mr. Hagen in any case where an expert is needed in the area of audio/video technology. (edited for spacing)

The article also references “Are You Putting The Jury To Sleep?” from Chuck’s Trial Presentation Blog. In both, Chuck emphasizes the importance of moving beyond the basics of PowerPoint in order to hold jurors’ interest.
